Welcome
to my porch.
It all started
on the porch
I grew up believing porches were for conversations.
My parents’ porch. My porch in Toronto.
The porch where friends came for a laugh, a cry, a rant or to say the thing they had been keeping to themselves.

There were candles, cushions, blankets and usually something to drink. Nobody came because I had all the answers. They came because they knew they could be honest.
​
That is what She2.0 is.
​
A place for honest conversations about midlife. The health questions, yes. But also the marriage, the friendships, the work, the money, the sex, the parenting, the aging parents, the identity shifts and the fears we do not always admit out loud.
​
But I am also living this, so I get it.
​
I have changed my mind. I have doubted myself. I have learned a lot and still have plenty to figure out.
​
I'm not interested in pretending midlife is one long empowering transformation. I'm also not interested in treating it like the beginning of the end.
​
It is complicated.
​
Sometimes funny. Sometimes brutal. Sometimes freeing. Often all three before lunch. I'm trying to keep my sense of humour about it all.

She2.0 is where I make sense of it, one conversation at a time.

I'm a writer who asks a lot of questions.

Sometimes they're about hormones.
Sometimes they're about marriage.
Sometimes they're about money.
Sometimes they're about why we're still apologizing for wanting to lose weight.

I spend my days talking to physicians, researchers, founders and women who are living this every day.
​
Then I come back to the porch and tell you what I've learned.

I'm a writer, marketer, speaker, podcast host, and founder of She2.0, a platform dedicated to helping women navigate midlife with better information and more honest conversations.
​
Over my career, I have helped build brands including WINNERS, Destination Canada, P&G, Carefree, Mattel, Mitsubishi, Tetley, Shoppers Drug Mart, and many others.​
​
I now live in Hamilton, Ontario with my husband, daughter, a very opinionated golden retriever and a Siberian kitten who rules the roost.
